Glen Stacey to curate music, visuals for Lake Placid N.Y. 4th of July celebration.

Former Capital Region radio personality and current media company owner Glen Stacey will be the spark for Lake Placid New York’s  July 4th fireworks show.

Glen will collaborate with executives from Essex County, Town of North Elba and the Village of Lake Placid to curate the concept, music and design for “Set the Night to Music”. He will also provide visual design cues and direction for the pyrotechnics that are choreographed to the musical score which will be launched from the shore of  Mirror Lake in the center of the village.

 The explosive evening will feature songs and hits from a variety of artist from pop, country and rock, with Lake Placid’s Kate Smith rounding out the presentation with “God Bless America”.

Glen Stacey has served as Branding/Marketing Director and On-Air Talent for a variety of radio companies in the Northeast and in the Capital Region including WFLY (Fly 92), WGNA and WQSH formerly Buzz 105.7. Lake Placid is best known as New York’s Olympic Region and is one of the great playgrounds of North America, offering year-round fun and excitement.  Nestled in the northeastern portion of the Adirondack wilderness of New York State, the rugged mountain scenery, heavy winter snows, and a pleasant summer climate combine to make the Lake Placid region a popular tourist year-round resort.
